To make Bumbu Gule with Bamboe, you'll need:

Ingredients:

  • 500g meat of your choice (beef, lamb, or chicken), cut into small pieces
  • 1 pack of Bamboe Bumbu Gule spice paste
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cups coconut milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 cardamom pods
  • 3 cloves
  • 2 bay leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.

  2. Add the meat pieces and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until they are browned on all sides.

  3. Add the Bamboe Bumbu Gule spice paste to the pan and stir-fry for another minute until fragrant.

  4. Add the coconut milk, water, cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, cloves, and bay leaves to the pan and stir well to combine.

  5. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 45-60 minutes until the meat is tender and the sauce has thickened.

  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  7. Serve hot with steamed rice.
